Bubu Suite by Prasi

Bubu Suite is a small, charming hotel with a beautiful pool, and a lovely garden filled with greenery and sculptures. The whole place has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in a room on the first floor with a balcony, which was beautiful and very quiet. What really makes this place special is the staff. They are genuinely warm and friendly, but it's more than that. They are incredibly attentive, notice the little things, and often offer help before you even ask. Having a restaurant on-site was another big plus for me. The breakfasts were delicious, and I loved being able to order dinner, fresh smoothie in the evening without having to go anywhere. It's not far from central Ubud, although you'll need a scooter or Grab to get there, which is really no problem. Such a wonderful stay, especially for the price. I would happily come back!

On my last night, I had some exceptionally loud neighbours, but honestly, I don't think any soundproofing could have helped with that!

The moment I walked into room I thought I had walked into the Hyatt! Absolutely divine wood & ceramic finishes in the room, 5 star opulence! Overall Bubu is better than a resort or a villa as it is so private (like a villa) but with option of on site restaurant to cater for anytime too exhausted to leave & face the hecticness of Ubud! Divine. Better than a resort as I could choose which pool lounge would be mine anytime of the day! Love that!

Nothing! It was all perfect right down to plastic free everything which was so wonderful to see. Bali so needs to do something about burning their trash:( yuck

We spent most of our stay in Bali here as a gateway out of Ubud towards the many attractions. I was wary that we would face a lot of traffic given the vicinity to Ubud centre but its not the case, traffic was manageable and several attractions were within 45min. Hotel is just 300m off the main road, secluded, quiet and within the jungle which provides you a unique experience of abundant sounds like Frogs and Geckos. Entrance is very unique with pond of Koy fish and frogs which randomly cross your pathway :) Rooms are very spacious with comfy beds and modern bathrooms having both a shower and a bath! Staff are sweet, friendly and super helpful helping us from the first second with our luggage, breakfast and at times, after very long days, in house dinner. Rooms are done (if instructed) daily with drinking water (4 bottles) provided and re-supplied daily! Breakfast was abundant and varied with fresh fruit (as typically found in Indonesia), Balinese black coffee, Banana smoothie and a selection between Indonesian, Continental, American or Healthy Menus! They were all delicious but often I landed over the marvellous pancakes which were delicious as per pictures. Food and drinks were very affordable in the hotel which we made use of once (after a tiring day) and was quite good. Infinity pool overlooking the jungle was very nice and perfect for those evenings where you need to relax for an hour or so after a long day exploring. Just 300m away there is an excellent restaurant named "Kalos Bali" with varied menu and live entertainment, good grocery shop and an excellent Laundry named Kusuma Wash Premium Service. It was a memorable stay and I will dearly miss the jungle vegetation and noises.

The bedroom walls were specifically the only disappointing note of the stay. Some of which were highly scratched and/or dirty (both booked rooms!). Better attention is needed for that otherwise it was perfect!

• Cadre agréable et reposant : hôtel calme, un peu à l’écart, idéal pour un séjour tranquille. • Chambre spacieuse et propre : avec mini-frigo, bon confort général à première vue. • Piscine très appréciée : belle, propre, avec serviettes fournies et accessible jusqu’à 21h. • Personnel discret et serviable : toujours disponible pour aider. • Activités proposées : excursions personnalisables autour d’Ubud avec chauffeur privé, massages en chambre disponibles en supplément.

• Literie de mauvaise qualité : matelas creusé, inconfortable, inacceptable pour un hôtel. Impact négatif sur le confort général, notamment pour les massages en chambre. • Petit-déjeuner décevant : choix en apparence varié mais de mauvaise qualité (omelettes ratées, produits industriels, jus trop sucrés). Seuls les fruits frais et pancakes sont appréciables. Meilleure alternative recommandée à proximité (Kalos). • Propreté insuffisante & lieux vieillissants : nombreuses zones sales malgré le ménage quotidien (WC, moustiquaire, coussins, bouilloire…). L’état général révèle une vétusté non négligeable. • Équipements obsolètes : TV inutile (aucune smart TV ni accès à des plateformes comme Netflix ou YouTube). • Gestion du check-out peu professionnelle : communication confuse (check-out à 12h annoncé sur Booking, mais demandé à 11h30), impression d’être “mis à la porte” le jour du départ.
