Let's just get the minor issue out of the way first. The not so great: heavy mothball smell, pots and pan are in terrible condition, pool was dirty, the features on the pool would not turn on with the remote provided, there is some kind of splatter on the ceiling in the dining area that was very sus. The amount of wasps outside was insane. There are nests on the adjacent houses and one on this house and I guess they are attracted to the water. Little putting green seen in image was not in working condition. The great stuff: the AC is phenomenal, plenty of space, pool was cleaned 2 days after our arrival and was great. Location is great. Communication was fantastic and our issue was solved in a timely manner. Nothing was so terrible that stopped us from enjoying our vacation though.

A great place for a group of friends or family to use as a gathering point for summer activities in the area. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to new Braunfels, nearby restaurants and centrally located.

We were two grandparents, four parents and a college student who gathered for another college student’s graduation. We found Serene Views to be full of thoughtful appointments. The rooms all had charging cords and comfy beds. The bathrooms all had toiletries. The kitchen had all the necessary items. We enjoyed the pool table and pool. There was room for all of us to be together as well as on our own. We didn’t need anything for little ones, but anything you could need was there. Highly recommend!

This property was absolutely beautiful, and our host was amazing! Everything was well thought out and made our stay so enjoyable. The kitchen was especially impressive — all the cabinets were clearly labeled, which made finding everything super easy.Miss Karen, our host, was truly wonderful and made us feel right at home. The house had five spacious bedrooms, plus well stocked 3 ane1/2 bathrooms and everything we needed in each room. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip.I would definitely rent this property again whenever I'm in Austin. Highly recommend!
