Beautiful hotel

Some of the paintwork in the hotel stairwell looked liked it needed a refresh It would have been good to have had teabags replaced on a daily basis (this was done with water so it should be easy to do for this too)

Very friendly and helpful staff Beds were comfortable Good shower and bathroom Fairly quiet room overlooking Gare de l'Est No traffic from the road Good facilities, swimming pool, sauna, gym, we didn't have time to use them

Room was small but manageable not a problem as we were out all the time

Elevator didn’t work and I had to climb 90 steps with luggage

Most especially the location. Bedroom and bathrooms were spacious, and decorated in very modern style. It was advertised as having a lift.

I found walking up to the fourth floor because the lift had broken down difficult. It is an old machine. I found having a shower when the bathroom floor flooded because of poor workmanship irritating and difficult. I did not enjoy having the water turned off mid shower and was told dismissively it must be the commune that was not good enough as I was very soapy at the time. I was scammed three times with no message from the Hotel to say that the demand for money was a scam. It would’ve helped if one of the staff at least had apologised for all the difficulties.
