What a great little place. Excellent for a few days stay if you want something other than crowded pubs. Great value, small but cozy rooms, close to wonderful seaside walk, super convenient with both a pharmacy and a convenience store right across the street, a good asian restaurant next door, and a laundromat just a few doors away. But the best part is that the food at the Black Cat is wonderful (dinner only), the staff is warm and helpful, and they treat solo travelers with courtesy.
I was okay with the room size but be warned that they are cozy.

The black cat was centrally located. The building was warm and clean and staff were friendly
I’d have no complaints

Location was good for Galway Bay. Room was small but adequate and comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful and let me stow my luggage. Several restaurants nearby. Easy access to bus stops. Great sea promenade just across the street.
Wish the shower had a handheld spray as well as overhead. There was construction going on out front so impeded access a bit and some noise in the AM but I was departing anyway. Parking was a bit of challenge with limited options.

The property is fairly located to the marina or the coastline. 1 can ride the bus anywhere they want from here 20 part of town. They have some good eating spots around the property as well.
There was construction going on around the property when they arrive, which is temporary so it should go away. However, the rooms are really dinky and extremely pricey for the little town.

Le resto que j'ai testé qui est délicieux
Le calme du lieu malgré la proximité de lieux forts fréquentés."
