Hotel Fantasy

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in, made even better by the staff and location. We were extremely fortunate to get a free upgrade to a King Suite where we had a huge room, spa bath and stunning views out of the front of the hotel across the mountains. I don't know how to say enough positive comments, so will go to a list: - Location - perfect for exploring everything in Gjirokaster; a short walk to the bazaar, an easy climb to the castle and not far from the main car park. - Staff - all wonderful! Anyone we met were kind and loved making our toddler feel special with high fives, cuddles and extra bowls of crisps at the bar! The shuttle bus driver even took us back to our car in the car part on leaving! - Room - stunning! Huge bed, leather sofa bed, stunning bathroom, even more stunning views from the balconies. - Breakfast - huge, varied, delicious! Buffet style with a wonderful choice. - Bar - lovely location overlooking the mountains. Cold beer and crisps - what more could you want? - Restaurant - we ate at the restaurant under the hotel bar (out on the terrace) one night and it was delicious!

Location was fabulous. Fantastic views. Lovely staff and very generous breakfast.

No coffee in the room! Just mint tea which wasn't our bag!

Good breakfast and great location. Finding the place is challenging as you can’t drive to the hotel property .

Size of the room. Small shower area

The beds were olds. Rooms need modern updates. The breakfast need a more diverse menu option for the free breakfast. The hotel needs to make it clear that there is no parking and there is a need to walk up a hill into a market district in the description of the hotel advertisement. Otherwise it seems like false advertisement.

The front desk person was nice and tried to help.
