Little Mosser-Awesome Views! Very Quiet!
Situé dans l'un des endroits les plus paisibles d'Estes Park, le chalet Little Mooser est à coup sûr un charmeur. Construite à l'origine en 1915, cette cabine à plan ouvert a été mise à jour avec des commodités modernes, et a toujours son caractère et son charme originaux. En entrant dans la cabine, vous serez accueillis par le salon chaleureux, qui comprend des murs à languette et rainure en pin, un futon confortable, un fauteuil coulissant, une télévision à écran plat et un lecteur DVD. À côté du salon se trouve la cuisine efficace avec cuisinière à gaz, une barre de petit-déjeuner en noyer personnalisée et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour faire un bon repas. La chambre comprend un lit king-size, une armoire ancienne, une commode et un bureau. Les toilettes sont une baignoire 3/4 avec une douche, un lavabo et des toilettes. Juste à l'extérieur de la chambre à coucher, il y a une belle terrasse, qui est un endroit paisible et parfait pour voir la faune.

Quiet, semi-secluded area. Excellent location if looking to explore in Rocky Mountain National Park. Literally 5 minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance.

Quaint little cabin that served us well! Very clean and cozy; just what we needed to hike all day and relax and get a good night’s rest after.

We enjoyed our stay here and it is in a very quiet wooded neighborhood. Awesome views? We saw elk and wild turkey on our way in and heard bull Elk bugling at night from our patio. The king bed was very comfortable and the bedroom is a good size. Everything else about the “Little Mooser” is antique and little, starting with the front steps which are extremely shallow. The kitchen table appears to be for children and the kitchen bar is very narrow so no place to eat comfortably. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen is very challenging, especially with the placement of the sink. There are no cooking utensils for the barbecue grill, only plastic. You can actually wash your face while sitting on the toilet and in my opinion, the water does not get warm enough to be sanitary. The windows slide open and are very hard to operate. We departed a day early and left a list of items that need to be repaired and at the top of the list was a smoke detector without batteries. This could be a much more comfortable place to stay if they would make a few modern updates. Please, place a lock box on the door so guests don’t have to drive to the office to get the key, which wasn’t a smooth process for us. We are a retired couple of average height and weight and would not stay again.
