We were originally supposed to be travelling to Mallorca, but at the last minute we discovered that our seven-year-old son’s passport had expired, so we unexpectedly ended up staying here instead—and it turned out to be a real blessing. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The shower was excellent, genuinely better than the one we have at home! We also used the swimming pool, which was lovely. The chickens on site were a real treat for our son. We fed them slices of apple and they absolutely loved it. Seeing the free-roaming sheep nearby was also a pleasure and added to the peaceful countryside atmosphere. The location is exceptional, particularly its proximity to the beach and the two nearby private bays. If anyone reading this enjoys running, there are some epic trails in either direction from the main entrance to the beach. The coastal paths are fantastic for running, and I ran on them every day. The visiting food van on Wednesday was also great, offering freshly made pizzas and fish and chips. There are plenty of useful shops nearby too, including a Lidl just a short drive away. We made some wonderful family memories here and would love to return next year, and hopefully every year after that.

There was honestly very little we didn’t like. It would have been nice if the visiting food van came twice during a seven-night stay, perhaps pizza on Tuesday and fish and chips on Friday, but we appreciate that it is an external service and you can’t have everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.
