Such an amazing place to stay. Right on the river, secluded and comfortable. There is a path down to the river though it is steep. Well worth the trek though. The river is cold and refreshing. Great for skipping rocks and a quick dip. The futons are great to sleep on, kitchen is well equipped and there are two toilets in the house which is a plus for a family. A great place to stay if you are heading to the Iya Valley. Definitely need a car to access.
I wish we had stayed more than one night

Liked the location, natural setting and spaciousness of the property. Lovely to wake up to river views. We also really liked the Yamaya Cafe just a few minutes drive away, great atmosphere and menu.
We would recommend providing some non-disposable coffee cups and table knives (ie. to use when eating). One pan did not work on the induction stovetop and it took us a long time to figure out that was the problem. Maybe some instructions could help.
