Location was in the middle of the town, next to the Cattedrale. Old medieval building. Apartment was nice and spacious. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Paula was an excellent landlord. She provided us with extra fans for the extremely hot weather Italy was having (and still is). Kitchen equipped.

No air conditioning. The fans did help however but are not quite the same. Parking is a bit remote from the place but Paula showed us a closer area that was not always available.

Great location and a lovely host who went out of her way to allow us in earlier than we’d originally planned . It was a great to base ourselves here to explore Umbria and Tuscany and to come home to a comfy and spacious base . We booked it as a couple and felt we had tons of space for our 6 day stay. The kitchen was adequately supplied to be able to prepare and cook a meal . The separate freezer if you were staying longer would be a great help. It’s definitely a quirky place - if you like your space Marriot or Hilton style rooms it’s not for you . The bed in the main room was very comfortable and my partner has a bad back so it’s always touch and go when we stay away . Not everything is perfect but nothing that caused us any major upsets . Oh .. and we didn’t mention the icecream shop downstairs !

Vår värd Paola som bodde i lägenheten mitt emot var väldigt hjälpsam och vänlig.

Förutom Paola hade jag kontakt med en kvinna som också var inblandad i uthyrningen. Hon krävde plötsligt att vi skulle betala extra eftersom vi disponerade båda sovrummen och badrummen i lägenheten. Vi hade bokat lägenheten just för att den hade två sovrum och dessutom står det i beskrivningen att man har hela lägenheten för sig själv. Det blev en lång diskussion på What’s App som tog en massa tid och förstörde vår vistelse till viss del. Hon ville också att vi skulle betala mellanskillnaden för vad boendet kostade när vi bokade i mars och vad det kostade nu, 30 euro mer per natt. Vi bodde där i fyra nätter. Jag fick hjälp av Booking. Com och till sist gav hon upp. Men detta gör att jag inte kan rekommendera Palazzo Bufalari till någon annan.

Directly in the old part of the town with a lot of places to eat, relax and explore.

Promised a washing and a parking spot on site. The washing machine wasn't working and smelled like old mold. The parking spot was not on site but on the street and wasn't free (needed to download an app to pay for it)
