Extremely comfortable and cosy apartment in a great location, right in the centre of Dolgellau which is a charming traditional Welsh town. The property is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday in Wales. A number of convenience stores, cafes and pubs are within short walking distance; with the picturesque hills around you wherever you look. A distinct benefit was the parking permit which you can use not only at Dolgellau main car park, but at other car parks within Gwynedd county. Which is ideal because there are so many other lovely towns to explore within driving distance.
The ground floor entrance is quite narrow and the stairs up to the 1st floor are fairly steep which makes it a bit difficult when carrying luggage big bags into the property. Also, there is no bath in the property, only a shower, which I should have clocked in the description so my fault for not seeing this — but made bathing my toddler who is only used to baths a little challenging. On the plus side I enjoyed the nice shower!
