Location was not overly busy with traffic. Easy off the highway and close to Vanderbilt

Valet parking

Nice breakfast, the area overall was decent. Nice places to hangout, eat, enjoy the nice weather.

I disliked having valet and paying extra for parking. I think the room was over priced. I left my shoes in the car but since it is a valet only "hotel" stay in couldn't just walk out to the car and get them. I was placed in a hearing impaired roomed, i asked did they have anything else he claimed no. Didn't even check the system to see. I did not like that. That room is there for reason and placing me there is and inconvenience. It's just not a stay for me. First and last time.

Superb breakfast menu. Free shuttle service on request. Valet service. Warm, friendly Southern hospitality and charm.

No garage parking.

Outward appearance is nice. Valet was helpful getting luggage to room. Room was clean. Kitchenette was well appointed.

Bed was very uncomfortable with a “body” dip that was hard to work around on either side of the bed. The upstairs guest floor/our ceiling was not insulated and we had to call the front desk both nights after everyone was awakened at 3 am both mornings by the upstairs guest’s footsteps/stomping and dropping/tossing items to floor. The first night it quieted down. The second night, it only got worse. Little sleep was had! Staff was not helpful or friendly. Breakfast was not much more than a continental breakfast with a couple hot items added (French toast/sausage one day and pancakes/sausage the next). There were reconstituted eggs that were lukewarm and weren’t good. The water for plain oatmeal (only hot cereal option) was lukewarm with no add-ins like granola, fruit or brown sugar. They had yogurt, toast, bagels, oranges, cold cereal, and scones. Had to hunt a luggage rack to leave. Valet was not helpful and parked car where we couldn’t get luggage cart to car for loading. Make sure you allow plenty of time for your car to be brought up or schedule it.
