Kibanda Natural Kendwa Villa

We loved everything with this place. Mobarak was så helpful and kindly. The villa is so cozy and looks much better than the pictures. We could use sunbeds and the swimming pool for free i kendwa rocks beach. The villa has also pool which is nice for the families with children. We could get free transport to nungwi every time we wanted. Razak was our driver and he was so so kindly . Also Sarah from the reception , so cute girl who is just spreading smiles and good energy Me and my husband are happy to stay here . We are gonna definitely choose same villa next time

Most of the staff were friendly, kind, and in a good mood, which we appreciated. The security presence seemed to be 24/7, which gave us some peace of mind, especially since our pool doors couldn’t be locked. Breakfast was fine — not a huge variety, but the food quality was okay.

Room & Comfort: The air conditioning is locked to 20 °C, and you can only increase the temperature, not lower it. Even at 20 °C, the room felt quite hot, especially during the night. The blanket was torn in multiple spots, and the mosquito nets on the doors had large holes, making them ineffective. The doors leading to our private pool couldn’t be locked and were accessible from the outside, which didn’t feel safe. Cleanliness & Maintenance: The overall room cleanliness was below average. Beach towels were very worn out and didn’t look nice. After five days, we were told to leave our key at the reception if we wanted the room to be cleaned — this should really be communicated on the first day. Most hotels usually have a second key or a system for cleaning when guests are not in the room. The Wi-Fi in the room was also very slow.
