Manhattan | Base ville Grand Central | Restauration & Broadway

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great neighborhood. We walked everywhere but Central Station is close if you need it. There are a lot of small shops and restaurants that are an easy walk. The hotel has a lounge on the 33rd floor with coffee, tea, and water, along with a microwave and outdoor seating. The hotel also has two to three events per day with free drinks and some with activities. Communication from the host was helpful and appreciated. Some reviews talk about pushy timeshare salespeople and the owner gave instructions on what to say to not get pressured. After check-in we did have to talk to someone who asked us to go to a timeshare presentation (you can’t get to the elevator without walking past them) but when we said we didn’t have the time he wasn’t pushy about it at all. So for my two cents, I would gladly take a polite offer of a timeshare presentation in return for the positive aspects of this place. I would happily stay again.

Staff very nice and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Loved all the perks for the owners that guests got to enjoy too. Gift for Mother’s Day even more special.

This property had the best location. 20 minutes from times square and bryant park, it was super near all the midtown activities I was in town for. Checkin and out was easy, they held my luggage, and even called me a set-rate cab to the airport.

I agree with Bob J.'s 9/23/25 review. Pros: the space was clean, staff were particularly friendly toward my kiddo, and we appreciated the free laundry facility on-site. Cons: The pressure to learn about the Club Wyndham timeshare was unappreciated. Also, the room we stayed in was not the one pictured in this listing, but did include a kitchen.
