The house was large and had ample space for our families. The bedrooms were also large and had the bunk beds which was excellent for kids. Beds were comfortable and the swing set was fun for the kids. The pool was a bit green from algae at the bottom and we spent more time cleaning it than playing in it. The carpets were very worn in areas, with the carpet nails poking through and hurt when stepped on (especially at the entrance). The house was generally clean but the handrail to the basement was filthy (I ended up cleaning it while there so the kids weren’t constantly touching grime) and the fans in each of the bathrooms were coated with a thick layer of dust. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

I can only be honest with this review. There are pros and cons to this rental. We had a great stay, but the property/ house needs some help. Pros: beds are super comfortable, the rooms were very nice, Hot tub was great, location was great, view was nice, host was very fast with responses, tons of fun toys for the kids, there were a ton of towels which we need for a family of 5, the house was very spacious!Cons: the house needs repairs and a little TLC. The weeds outside are overwhelming however it was nice someone came to cut the grass, We were welcomed with a huge pile of trash, the pool was not swimmable, the bottom was slimy which means the water is not treated properly (there was no chlorine in it), there was exposed tack stripping right in the entrance where carpet has been worn away, a few of us hurt our feet, I finally just covered it with something, the cookware is pretty rough and needs updated. Stains on couches and carpet.In closing, this house would be so amazing with some much needed help. The host was great.

Great communication with the owner, place was as described, nice and roomy lots of space for families and pet friendly.

The house is very spacious. Lots of rooms and beds which made the sleeping arrangements for my family very flexible. The beds were comfy. The basement is huge. We enjoyed hanging out down there after the kids went to sleep although it was quite cold. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck and outside by the swing set. All that to say we probably wouldn’t rent here again and here’s why: none of the bathrooms had hand towels and some bathrooms were missing bath towels. There was no extra toilet paper or paper towels although the owner did have the cleaning crew bring some once I alerted him of the situation, but no towels were brought. There was also no dishwasher detergent so we had to hand wash all of our dishes, but there was no dish sponge.. only a Mr clean magic eraser. Only one of the tv remotes worked so we had to carry it from room to room to get the tvs to work. The house overall looked a little run down. Furniture and walls had stains on them. I’d recommend a new cleaning crew because we also found a very moldy piece of fruit under the kitchen table booths while we were sweeping up. Lastly, the water has a VERY strong sulfur odor. We could not shower or give the kids baths because of the smell and it was irritating to our skin. We were using bottled water to brush our teeth so that we wouldn’t throw up from the smell of rotten eggs. I know this is common in certain areas but I’d highly recommend investing in a water filtration system,
