Jeff was a great host about communicating the whole time, when I booked the trip and was great with communication on everything. Checking in was easy, the area is a nice neighborhood that is close to grocery stores and coffee places. The home has no carpet, which we enjoyed having 2 dogs, that we were allowed to have with us during our stay and the nice fenced in back yard was convenient for them and waste bags are provided in the back yard. My one recommendation would be with the floors being hardwood and tiled, maybe a swifter or push duster for the floors, along with broom. The place overall was decently clean, maybe a few missed areas in the kitchen, dusting and the stove drawer. The no door by the stairs going down was different, but we don’t have smaller children so was not an issue for us. My kids loved the treehouse, now some have said it didn’t seem safe, it is a use at your own risk, but we got some great sunset photos from it. This property rental is shared, so there is a private apartment downstairs, it’s not mentioned in the listing, but who stayed there was quiet and I was trying my best to keep our kids quiet cause they are not use to a higher altitude and how it makes you not sleep. We never ran out of hot water once, I should have asked for more towels, but just rewashed a lot. If you want a safe area not far from everything and don’t mind an older style home and need a place to sleep with pets, this place is great. The main road will make it loud out back.

Enjoyed the stay

The neighborhood is very quiet and well-kept. This house backs up to the highway. It’s actually sufficient background noise if you’re out back playing. The side gate doesn’t lock and not easily adjustable (heavy as heck and I’m pretty strong!), just beware in case you lock yourself out as we did. At the time of our stay for business/work/a few days with our son in the mix, IF you’re just men coming to work, or for a fun concert festival weekend as a college aged guy, this place is great. However if you’re a female, anyone who wants to get ready or have a spot to sit your items in the bedrooms or bathrooms, there aren’t any freezers or tables for such things. The bathrooms do not have adequate space if you need to lay out items (double whammy if you’re someone with kids to get ready or a female). I’ve never had this happen before therefore when I booked I didn’t pay attention to dresses and such. So just an fyi. Snow being shoveled or ice melt on the sloped driveway/deck is a must. It’s an unexpected hazard when it turns to an ice slick. Close to fast food, highways, easy & quick access to her anywhere from Aurora, Denver, Boulder, airport…. Visit Washington Park. It was an unexpected beautiful place, especially in November. The owner/manager is the nicest man. If not for Jeff being so kind and prompt, great communication to assist with a couple hiccups. I appreciate Jeff’s communication.
