Villa Venus is a beautiful property over 3 floors. The veranda at the top has amazing views of Capri, Vesuvius etc. A great sunbathing area and a perfect dining area under a pergola. The middle floor hosts the three spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a small living and kitchen area. Downstairs has the pool (small but adequate) and the most amazing kitchen and dining area. There is also table football and another bathroom. There are a lot of stairs but this wasn’t a problem for us. The villa is about a 10 minute walk from the town square where there is a bar and a couple of good restaurants.We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend Villa Venus.

This Villa is off the beaten path in a lil' village w/the locals.It's not your typical tourist town.In just 5 minutes you can be up the hill in a lil' village sipping on Cappuccinos & enjoying Croissants w/the locals.Many great lil' restaurants run by locals w/just delicious food, a butcher shop, ceramic shop, grocery store, limoncello store. etc.The public bus picks up throughout the day w/many stops along the way & to many surrounding areas to visit such as Sorrento, Amalfi, Marina & Positano, etc.We just loved going into the busy towns but then retreating to our quite villa & village!It's quiet & peaceful w/just SPECTACULAR views of Capri Island, Napoli & other Islands.If the weather permits, leave the French doors open at night & wake up to the sound of birds singing & a breeze.We cooked in the main kitchen & ate at the table that can seat 30, we also ate out on the pool deck & enjoyed cocktails on the top deck w/the most incredible view!It's just breathtaking & you just say "Praise Jah!"...(Psalm 37:11)Armando the host/owner of the Villa was most helpful!Just a kind soul & ready to assist w/many things like arranging rides for pick up to & from the airport. Replenishing some items in the home & ready to help showing us the local bus schedule & which buses/trains to take to get where we wanted to go.I would go back in a heartbeat & stay in the lil' village & w/Armando again in his Family's lovely home!Thank you for sharing your home w/us!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Venus. The rooftop terrace was our favourite place to hang out and relax on the days we were not sightseeing and to rest at the end of the day to watch the sunset. Our favorite activity was the pizza cooking class with our hosts Maria Rosaria, Nunzio and Armando. We enjoyed walking into Termini to get a cappuccino or tea and a cornetto pastry for breakfast ever morning. We found the best way to see some of the towns like Positano Amalfi and Ravello was to hire a private driver in advance.

Our group included 2 couples and two 24 year old daughters. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Venus. Claudio was a great host and answered all our questions via WhatsApp before our arrival and while we were there. He even arranged our boat tour to Amalfi and Positano. The family lives next door so that came in handy when I accidentally pulled the curtain out of the wall. 😬 The dad was over within minutes and had it fixed in no time. Now about the house: the layout is a bit different and there are a lot of stairs but you get used to it after day 2. Top level is an upper deck with stunning views of the water and Capri. The canopy offered great shade and outdoor furniture was comfortable. Middle level has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bedrooms. Beds were a bit hard and each bedroom only had 2 hangers, but we figured it out. Showers were nice, great water pressure. Lower level had a fully equipped kitchen, HUGE dining table. There was a 3rd full bathroom down here which came in handy when hanging by the pool. There was also a pull out bed that our daughter used a couple of nights and she said it was pretty comfortable. Pool is the perfect size for cooling off and we loved that there were 6 lounge chairs. All within walking distance of the house: Bar Simone had great pastries, Eughene’s was delicious (we went there twice). Noticed Gocce Di Capri up the hill so went to their restaurant too and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Venus!
