Hotel Rey Don Jaime

Location very good. Staff were mostly helpful and friendly with odd exception.

Evening meal one dish meat was awful very tough Breakfast fresh fruit well past it's best Stayed two nights had no idea evening meals included and reception staff when asked about food on arrival only mentioned breakfast.

Everything clean and tidy, but hotel getting to the point where the rooms and bathrooms need updating. Staff were lovely though and overall fine for 1 night

A bit tired

No code for the front door given and realised my mobile battery had died so we had to ask someone to call the hotel at 2am for them to open up.

Good location inside walled city. The walled city is quite compact. Partly renovated bathroom was good. Room size slightly above average. Public parking is nearby and costs €2.50 per day, (only coins, no change, 10:00-18:00) which is also the max tariff that the meters accept, so you have to buy a new ticket every day. Google maps shows it as free parking, but it showed (In Valencian!) that it is not free at least in the weekends and also not on other days from June till September. Parking is a short walk from the hotel.

Lot of noise from other guests, you could hear them talking and hear the television from other rooms, not only the next one. Though you cannot fully blame the hotel for it, the noise continued the whole night.
