Just that I wish I could have stayed longer

The hotel is nicely situated in a part of town that is easily accessible, but away from the tourist zone down by the ferry. There are numerous great restaurants within a short walk. The room itself was very comfortable with a sizable bathroom, and the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean was definitely a highlight. Additionally, the breakfast was fantastic and we loved eating it every morning on the balcony.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Il Gabbiano, a charming family-owned hotel that has been operated by the same family for generations. The accommodations were excellent, with an extraordinary view of Positano and the Mediterranean. We especially enjoyed the excellent breakfast and cappuccino each morning on the balcony while taking in the spectacular scenery. The location was very convenient - just minutes from restaurants and the port for ferry trips to Capri, Sorrento, Naples, and other Amalfi Coast destinations. Taxi access was easy for both arrival and departure, and the staff made handling our luggage very convenient. Keep in mind that, like much of Positano, reaching many nearby destinations requires walking along steep, narrow stairways. That is simply part of the Positano experience. A wonderful hotel, beautiful setting, and genuine family hospitality. We would gladly return.

The views were beautiful and staff was wonderful.

Extremely loud, late night neighbors that live next door to property. Made it very difficult to sleep and relax. Had to move our bed to floor in opposite room to drown out noise.
