Hotel Villa Gli Asfodeli

We spent three nights in Villa Asfodeli in early October with our one year old baby. Overall the stay was very relaxing for us and a great experience for our child. Everybody of the staff and the other guests were very friendly with him and ready to accommodate our needs. We also got a warm gift for our kid at the checkout. The breakfast is very rich with both sweet and savoury options. The location of the villa is in the centre of the town with a pretty view to the surrounding landscape. Everything was ok with our room which was situated just next to the swimming pool. We recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay also to parents with children.

We had an excellent room with a small balcony in the other building, so not in the villa itself. This building seemed quite a bit newer, which we found to be a positive thing!

If I have to think of something, the bed just a little bit on the soft side for our taste.

Room was clean and big, what is nice when you travel with suitcases. We had a little problem with hot water when we arrived but it was solved next day. Staff very friendly, gave nice recommendations for excursions. Breakfast was great with very good coffee. To have it perfect some scrambled eggs and bacon could be added. There is a restaurant on the street and groceries store in front of the hotel.

The air conditioning is kind of noisy. And the church wakes you up at 7AM with a loud melody every morning, unless you have a really good sleep. As the hotel is in the village some nights you need to search a little in order to find a parking, as parking in front of the hotel is limited. But it was ok for me, the village is nice so no problem to have a little walk in the village to get to the hotel.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We especially loved the garden and the view. The staff is really friendly and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast in the garden is also fantastic. Good coffee, fresh fruit and great quality products. If you like staying in a traditional hotel that feels authentic then I can truly recommend staying here!

The bathroom in our room was a bit older, but everything was clean and in order.
