A very warm welcome from staff at check in. We did not have breakfast as we had sightseeing plans but noted the restaurant area was busy. Excellent location for exploring the city, 12 minute walk to train station. The view from our third floor room was outstanding. The elevator was appreciated. We would highly recommend this property.

The location is very good, a few min walk to Cologne train station, the Lovers' Lock bridge and Cologne Cathedral. The size of room seems modenrate, downstaire there are bars and restaurants.
There is no compliment coffee nor tea. There is no hot-water kettle nor mini-refregerator in the room and smell in bathroom seems not preasant. The price of downstair restaurant seems too expensive that I have to go train station to find food.

Location was perfect for us - well placed for the railway terminus, city centre, old town and our adjacent holiday barge pick-up point.
The bedroom & bathroom were OK for a small 2* / 3* city centre hotel; small but clean and equipped with the basics.
The lift was broken throughout our 3-day stay. There was no offer of help for us in our 70s to struggle with heavy suitcases up 3 flights of narrow stairs.
There was no in-room information. Nothing about hotel contact details, how to use the little safe, catering arrangements, tv channels etc which the foreign tourist might expect.
