Ideal location. Charming guest house.
Parking was a bit confusing. Was a bit noisy when the windows were open.

Alpenrose is located right on the main street in the midst of Mittenwald. The room was small but adequate and very comfortable. The mini fridge had a selection of complimentary beverages which was very appreciated. The breakfast room was quaint and made a nice start to the day, with a good breakfast selection that was filling. The restaurant was highly recommended by the tourist office as the place for dinner and did not disappoint! Truly enjoyed our time in Mittenwald and the Alpenrose.

Location was excellent. A good breakfast. The dinner hostess was very helpful and friendly.
Ok, and old building but carrying bags up 2 floors....
We wanted to checkout prior to 8am but had to wait for someone to arrive.
It would be helpful to give precise parking instructions before arriving

We found the location and history of the place great
Very dated, bedding was not great and the restaurant was full of flies, most off putting at breakfast was having to swat away flies
