Great property, our family had a great time. The house was fully stocked with everything we would need.

This is a very nice home located on a quiet cove. My family had a great time swimming in the lake and enjoyed spending time together. There was plenty of space within the home for the (8) adults and (2) children. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal including a gas grill located on the upper deck. The enclosed sitting area was nice for morning coffee while looking out on the cove. Downstairs there is a game room to enjoy at night or if it rains and of course internet/TV. There was plenty of parking and easy access to the house and patio area. Food Lion and an ABC store were only a few minutes away as well as coffee shops, restaurant's, pizza and lake rentals. Our host, Becky, was great and checked in on us a few times during our stay. Hart Haven is a beautiful location to spend a couples retreat or family vacation. Our family made wonderful memories and would definitely stay again.

Stunning lakefront property with unmatched amenities! Our family spent four wonderful days at Lake Gaston and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The check-in process was seamless, and communication with the homeowner/host was superb throughout. This is an ideal spot for multigenerational gatherings, with immediate access to the water for boating, kayaking, and fishing, plus a short drive to Washburn’s Marina. The peaceful setting, beautiful outdoor patio, and fire pit made evenings especially memorable. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area—our family is already planning our next trip back!

To start, we asked about an amenity that we were looking for in searching for a vacation rental. The owner went above and beyond and accommodated our need. This act of kindness made us know we had to book this rental. The home had everything we needed for the week. We loved the open floorplan of the main floor and the seclusion of the other rooms for the kids to play and have a good time. The privacy and quietness of the cove made us feel at home. We spent most of our time on the dock swimming, kayaking and fishing. Being at the back of the cove made it nice for kids to play in the water and away from all the wake of the lake. Fishing was good for the kids at the dock and around the cove. Out on the boat the marina was close for fuel and snacks. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house. The comfort and amenities were awesome and the communication with the owner and management were great. I was even messaged a few days into our stay ensuring we were having a good stay and offering assistance if needed. It was nice of them asking instead of just renting the house and forgetting us. We will defintely consider thjs house again and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a great stay and helping us make memories.
