This hotel claims to be “modern”, but it’s actually in an advanced state of disrepair. The facilities are clearly not up to the standards expected of a 4-star establishment (during our stay, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working!)
There is no coffee machine or kettle in the room, nor any bottled water or welcome note. In short, it falls far short of 4-star standards
As for the atmosphere, avoid it if you are looking for peace and quiet. We are far from an intimate hotel, as the clientele mainly consists of large tour groups arriving by bus
Furthermore the property is located far from everything. The train station is a 20 minutes walk away, and you should expect to pay between 25 and 35€ for a one way Uber “taxi” ride to the Rome city center
I am attaching a photo of the smoke detector in our room, which perfectly sums up the lack of maintenance at this hotel!
