The hotel was clean. Staff was helpful. Self checkin was bit confusing initially but didn't face any issues — there's also reception downstairs. Breakfast gets mundane, being the same menu everyday, if you're staying a few days but otherwise, it's good.
The bathroom door was a sliding one without a closing latch. With our toddler in the same room, it was not really comfortable. IDK what's with this design/approach with hotel rooms these days. Price could have been better too.

Very comfy bed. 35% off our food and drinks bill. Near to tube. Breakfast lovely. Quiet room.
When we checked in the hotel added a charge of £9.50 cleaning fee which I initially paid but then requested a refund which I was promised but to date has not.appeared in our account.

Location, comfortable rooms and clean
The let-down is the F&B at breakfast: the most bizarre rules “You’re not allowed to sit here because when the hotel isn't that full, then we don't allow guests to sit here, but only in this section". Why would you limit people inside because of your operational incapacities? On the first day, when I asked for mayo, there wasn't and they said they had ordered it by day 5; still nothing. The manager/host guy at breakfast needs to take the chip off his shoulder.
