The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. One bathroom, the one near the king sized bed is old and lacking. Little to no counter space and the shower is within an a curtain surrounded, old tub. It is hard to get the curtains fully closed. When I first used it, the shower head was "floppy" so only about 5 ft high and sprayed water outside the tub. To their credit, they fixed it within hours of my request. Everything else was as advertised and very comfortable.

One concern we had was the entrance setup. Access to the loft is through the alley, and directly across from the entry door was a recessed cut-out area where people were frequently hanging around. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, there was almost always someone there, which made entering and exiting feel uncomfortable at times, especially when trying to unlock the door and get inside quickly while being spoken to by strangers nearby.We understand this comes with an urban downtown location, but it did create a less secure feeling than we expected from the listing description. Guests who are sensitive to that type of environment may want to be aware.That said, the host communication regarding an item we accidentally left behind was appreciated.

It was quite easy to unload and then move the car to its designated parking spot.The kitchen is well equipped and we had plenty of coffee supplies. We also appreciated the wine and snacks! Nice towels and a comfy bed. There were only 2 of us, but this place would comfortably sleep another couple.
