We generally liked the property. It’s about a 5-10 min walk from public beach access. The unit was updated and in generally good condition. We like to cook and wished that the kitchen had been a little better equipped, but overall we liked the property and would consider again for future rentals.

All the units have a storage room in front of the assigned parking space where the beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. are kept. That's very useful rather than dragging all that sandy stuff up to the condo. The walk to the beach takes about ten minutes. Everything worked great in the condo. Harborview rentals is also easy to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time overall here at the Essex. The apartment was well-furnished, though slightly outdated. The washing machine, unfortunately, stopped working during our time there, but Harborview was very accommodating and offered us access to an empty apartment to continue doing laundry for the rest of our stay. Harborview provided timely service both with the washing machine and at the beginning of our stay when we found out the condo was missing a beach cart, they brought us a new one within a few hours. We would have liked to see a gas grill somewhere on the property; there is only a charcoal grill which would not have been pleasant to use in the Marco Island heat. We also wish that there was a drying rack of sorts to place our towels and bathing suits instead of placing them all over the condo. We really enjoyed the fact that each condo has a little room by the assigned parking spot to house beach supplies, and the beach was a leisurely 5-10min walk from the building. We also appreciated that Harborview fully cleaned the condo prior to our arrival and provided us with a starter supply of most paper goods and cleaning agents/supplies, which was really helpful since we arrived too late the first evening to go shopping for these essentials. [My younger brother would have loved the condo even more if there was a waffle maker! :)] This is definitely a place we would like to return to in the future!
