location was great -

didn't understand heating system

Great location by the sea, comfy beds, washing machine and tumble dryer, useful drying rack outside.

Needs some maintenance. Attention to detail. Didn't quite live up to "finest" in some aspects eg blunt knives and mismatched crockery in minimal quantities.

Grote keuken met wasmachine en droger.

De douche is te klein als je groter bent als 1.70.

Good location, it was lovely to see and hear the sea from the property. Beds and bedrooms were good.

The key box was awkward to get the key. The window in the kitchen did not open so the smoke alarm went off when we took a slighty burnt pizza out the oven. The property was cold when we arrived at 6pm and it took a day to warm up with the way the storage heaters worked. There was a bad drain smell in the kitchen which turned out to be coming from the cabinet under the sink, from a plastic "bucket" which holds cleaning products, ironically, which was filled with dirty standing water which must have been there a good while. I emptied and cleaned it and the smell went away. I obviously understand that it is a dog friendly cottage but the downstairs felt grubby but after I gave it a quick hoover and wipe down it was much better. Invest in a good strong kettle, nearly got covered in boiling water every time I poured a cup of tea. If more money was spent on the little things like quality bedding, towels, soaps, even some local produce in the welcome basket then I would be happy to pay more money to stay at Ellie-Jo.
