location was fine. mountain-view room, but was cloudy that day, so we didn't see the mountain. it's RIGHT next to subway and I was worried about hearing the trains, but no! very quiet. breakfast was very good that morning, and started early! was close to a grocery-store pharmacy.
carpet in the room; I have dust allergies, so carpets are always iffy for me. we didn't get pyjamas in our room, they were near the elevators on ground-floor. we didn't speak to staff, everything was done through computers.

The view of Mt Fuji was great though the grates on the window meant photos weren't possible from there. You can walk to a photo location easily though. The proximity to the train station was useful and I had dinner there which was great.
The room had a strong smell. I don't know if it used to be a smoking room and had a lingering smell of that but it was not pleasant. The bed was also very stiff although I managed to sleep okay. The hotel is in an industrial area so would not recommend if you want to walk around, it is quite a hostile looking area with tons of concrete, car parks etc.
