Dragons Dream Hostel

I did not eat breakfast as i departed too early to comment. The price is fair for the type of hostel. Very clean, and during my stay quiet and I slept well.

One major criticism, the number communal toilets / showers available was far too less to the number of guests. There were long waits for showers and toilets (which are merged). If someone showers for 30 mins, you have no access to a toilet. As far as I could determine one could not go to toilet separately from the shower. Meaning if you must, you will wait. It is not like this through the day, but it could be a problem if urgent and if you are in a hurry.

Quiet, peaceful and easy to get to from city.

Very comfy and clean capsules, my bed was perfect. I liked the common room and the signs with dragon theme

Not being able to see if a bathroom is occupied or not ; so I’ve to tried them all with a bit of shame to disturb occupants. Also my bathroom was not clean, but it was before the previous occupant, not the staff.

Large room, cosy bed.

Amenities state "lockers" are available but these are only for while you are checked in. There is no secure luggage storage for after check out - finding this out the day we checked out ruined our first day in Slovenia as instead of exploring the old town and having a relaxing arrival - we were dragging our bags around and searching for storage. The private double room was a good size but oddly laid out so you had to climb over the bed to get to one bedside. And the bathroom was not the cleanest. The aircon unit made an awful clicking noise that kept us awake. Also, we were given a single duvet for 2 people on a double bed. There were no staff on site to help with anything.
