The bed was far too firm and the pillows poorer quality than we would have expected (not at all soft).

Fantastic stay, good workers, friendly and immediately responsive to needs, good chef too and friendly. Reception helped us check-in about 2.5 hours before 3pm based on availability though we were informed earlier about the check-in time and policy. They also have a store which is free to use if you arrive earlier and have luggage; you can keep and tour the area to prior to check-in. Hotel is very close to the train station (good connections) yet insulated from the noise, so it's not a concern but a big advantage especially with luggage. Also like the separation of toilet from bathroom and both are clean. Hotel is also a 2minute walk from Sainsbury and Aldi store for quick grocery and the neighbourhood is very beautiful, cool and calm.

Other than a notable stain on the carpet/rug at the centre of the room which I believe can be washed, also feel the rug in the room will appreciate a deep clean, I had a pleasant stay.

The location, breakfast, and overall comfort of the room were very good. My room - double superior - was quiet and spacious for one person.

My room was not cleaned once during a five-night stay! Housekeeping changed the towels and made the bed, but nothing more. Dirty mugs and glasses were never replaced. I went down to the restaurant twice to exchange them myself. The sink and shower were not cleaned once, and coffee was not always refilled. The shower did not work properly, and room service told me to call maintenance myself. I came to London for work and paid for a hotel, not an Airbnb, where I have to handle basic housekeeping myself.
