It was 5 minutes away from the wedding venue and the view

I was at the very top all the stairs but the view was worth it

Everything about the property was perfect, the facilities were very clean and tidy, warm and cosy, just out the door to bars and cafes, wonderful views of the building, and very short walks to the attractions

Location was amazing! Studio was perfect and was very well maintained and clean! Very comfrotable! Fantastic view of the Walter Scott Monument! The keypad system was great and it made it so easy to get to check in and come and go as needed without having to worry about losing keys! Love that there was also a storage area included if needed before/after check in/out!

The only issue was that one evening, it appears another guest may have gotten confused which unit they were in or somehow locked themselves out so they were banging on doors and trying to get into other units at like 1 am so it woke me up and at first, I wasn't sure if it was another guest or just a random person who got inside. I texted the WhatsApp number (I have a US phone and hadn't been able to call European or UK numbers even from WhatsApp on other points of my trip) that was listed as a 24hr. contact but no replied for several hours. The disruption lasted for several hours when I needed sleep before traveling the next day. Not totally the hosts fault, but wouldn't been nice to have more of a response if a number is listed as 24 hrs., but very minor inconvenience overall and I would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect and within a walking distance from most of central sightseeing sites. It was great that a property gave us our own access code and we did not need any keys or cards to access our apartment.

We both found beds very uncomfortable and we struggled to sleep through the night without waking up from discomfort. Bedsheets and duvet cover were of poor quality (synthetic), flat was very small in size and there were no lifts at all, which forced us carry a heavy suitcase to 3 floor. It was particularly challenging as my husband just went through abdominal surgery a month ago and j had little choice as to carry it up the stairs myself. Also it is very problematic to arrange a luggage storage as there is just a tiny cupboard for suitcases (which on both occasions of our arrival and departure was full). It caused additional inconvenience as we had to pay additional charges for storage in the Waverley train station.
