Location was really good and had safe secure parking. Lovely bar with a pool table to use.

Location was excellent with local buses into the city available just outside the hotel. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner. The staff were very pleasant, efficient, informative and kind especially Theo on reception and the restaurant staff. There was plenty of secure parking at the hotel in the underground car park.

Our room wasn't cleaned on one day despite asking for it to be done. The parking was expensive - £24 a day but it ran for 24 hours from purchase rather than midnight to midnight.

Car park gets really full and sometimes can’t find the parking space

The location of the hotel was good with excellent underground secure parking. Just a 10 minute walk into the City along the river or across the park. The room was comfortable and spacious with large fluffy towels, good toiletries, plenty of mirrors and plug sockets/charging points and a clever indicator to show no entry/clean the room. The evening meal was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The room was chilly and heating controls made minimal difference. The TV would not display BBC1. The pseudo jazz music in the restaurant and seating areas was repetitive and became irritating. Breakfast was expensive and not worth the money. No waiter service even for coffee (and the machine didn't work properly). Limited choice of egg on the self service side (although they did cook us an omelette when asked). Orange juice dispenser did not work and there was only melon in the way of fresh prepared fruit. Pastries were fresh and the food we had was tasty but didn't justify the cost.
