1783 Dimora d'Epoca

A really lovely boutique bed and breakfast in the centre of Locorotondo. The hotel was beautifully decorated with attention to detail over the design. The basement hot tub was amazing and a welcome surprise On this trip we stayed in 5 hotels in Puglia and this was our favourite.

This is a beautifully restored 250 year old building., perfectly located in the old town of Locorotondo. The hostess, Chiara, was charming, always ready to help. The room was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was quite simple, but perfectly adequate and very fresh and tasty. All in all, a perfect stay.

The only downside is the parking. The hotel is in a restricted traffic zone, and also in a pedestrianised zone, so cars cannot drive to the hotel or even near to it. There are two options for parking - use one of the public car parks, or the hotel has a small reserved parking area behind a local filling station. In either case there is a quite long walk to the hotel with your luggage, often uphill and up some steps. However, this is a minor disadvantage. And I don’t see how the hotel could improve this.

We carefully did our research to find a place to call home base once we knew we would be in Puglia. We nailed it when we chose 1783 Dimora d’Epoca. The property is beautifully historic, luxurious, well-maintained, and in the heart of it all. Nando and Chiara were a delight and were very helpful. They offered recommendations and made reservations that made our stay even more special. The breakfast prepared by their friendly staff was delicious and they went out of their way to ensure we had items we enjoyed. I hope we are able to return again one day. We would return every year if we could.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Dimora d'Epoca. La demeure est parfaitement rénovée avec des matériaux de qualité et est décorée avec beaucoup de gout. Les petits déjeuner sont délicieux et préparés sur place. Chiara s'est montrée très disponible pour nos diverses demandes.
