Hotel Alexis

The staff was so welcoming, cheerful and helpful. They offered a hearty breakfast in a charming setting. The rooms were not fancy but they were much bigger than I expected, and they had everything you needed: extra bedding, AC, and a good supply of shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. Daily maid service. The location was excellent. It was a short walk from the train station, and bus service was just around the corner. We went to the two restaurants across the street several times, and they had good food at a reasonable price.

It would have been nice to have a lift, but the young man at the front desk took my suitcase up for me.

Great location, spotlessly clean and a marvellous breakfast. Everyone was very friendly.

Slightly noisy from air conditioning units nearby I think, but I am a very light sleeper so probably wouldn't disturb most people.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk from main train station, metro & tour buses. Friendly & helpful staff. Lots of restaurants / bars on the doorstep. Small back terrace garden for an evening drink or for smoking. No bar service, but a fridge in reception with all types of drinks to purchase. We had a room at the front of the hotel, which could be noisy at times. No lift available for guests to use, but staff brought up our bags via a service lift.

Shower was very unpredictable, running from very hot to cold in an instant.

Breakfast had a good selection on offer. Waitress was very helpful and friendly.

Shower was terrible kept going from very hot to cold very hard to regulate and very cramped.
