Hampton by Hilton Canterbury

Great location. Fantastic roof bar which is not part of the hotel so does not get promoted. Wonderful views from the bar. Breakfast set up is good with plenty of options.

Rooms are small but adequate. Bathroom lighting could be improved.

Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Staff were lovely and prepared a surprise in our room as we were celebrating a special occasion. Thank you so much 🙏

Perhaps a little interior decor upgrade is needed in the rooms.

This hotel was lovely, it was clean, quiet and sited in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.

Hotel is in a great location, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean.

We didn’t get a good nights sleep. Could hear music from the bar until 3am, when we messaged reception about this we received a message saying it’s the city centre and we should expect noise. I get that fair enough but not music and the bass vibrating through. It stopped at 3am. We realised the following day that our room was literally above the bar/club next door the hotel. When we checked out the lady was very friendly and apologetic and explained that they are aware and if we wanted to book another stay to ask for a quiet room. I just think that we could have been told that it maybe noisy or given the option, we were away for the night for our anniversary and when we did message reception about the noise it was kind of well it’s a city centre. But in actual fact was our room was above a bar with a DJ until 3am. I don’t think at weekends you should be charged full price for a room that you can’t get any sleep in. A bit of a poor show here really from The Hilton.
