Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in unit 130 for almost 10 years. While there have been some upgrades, over the last few years we have noticed that things haven't changed much. The beds are so uncomfortable and squeaky, the blinds downstairs have an odor, and the screens were torn and hard to open this year. For what the unit costs for a weeks stay, it's frustrating that the accommodations don't measure up the way that they used to. We even cleaned the light fixtures this year, and had to deal with ants throughout the condo. The kitchen utensils could also use updating as the knives are so dull it's almost dangerous to use them. We love this property and treat it as our own. Again, for the price we pay to stay, we just hope things can be upgraded to match what we are investing in our family vacation.

We have always enjoyed our stay and did so again this year. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the facility to close the spa and limited access to the pool. We understood the reason for doing so, however, the restrictions could have been handled differently. Bill, the day supervisor, was exceedingly kind and apologized about the new restrictions. However, he is off on Sunday and Thursdays and therefore the pool was closed. Shouldn't Coastal Vacation have hired someone to come in on those days to supervise the pool so renters could have had access to the pool? When the pool has limited access, shouldn't Coastal have given a discount, like $100 per day, when the spa was not available? We have children who love to swim in the pool or sit in the spa after a cold day at the beach. There needs to be some adjustment to the daily rate when the spa and pool are not available. We are incredibly pleased with the cleanliness and décor of #130 and it fits our family needs. We will continue to reserve our accommodations in the future, however, if the pool and spa are not available then we will request a discount or cancel our reservations.
