The host Adnan came out of his way to make our stay as smooth as it gets, arranging airport transport and replying fast to all our questions. The apartment, which accommodated our group of 4 friend, was spacious, clean, with comfy beds and just a 10 mins walk to the old town. The Bistrik area was safe and interesting to explore. We especially appreciated the hagiati ,where we could smoke and enjoy the partial view of Sarajevo and the nearby St. Antony’s Catholic Church. A bakery with all sorts of delicious things, which stayed open quite late, was just around the corner.

The location is perfect. Bakery(/pizzeria 50m. Cable car, old city, Sarajevo brewery, museums, river etc. in walking distance. It is between a church and a mosque, but it is silent and in the night you can hear cicadas. The host family is super friendly and helpful. Communication was good and we could plan with them in advance. Everything what you need is in the apartment. AC was helping during the heat wave. It is perfect for some days when you don't need a car and want to explore the city center.
The beds are very soft. The bedroom has no dark curtain for the balcony door, so it gets sunny early. If you come with the car, the street is tight, steep and sharp curvy around the church, but manageable.

I am requested to pay in cash without invoice in the middle of night.
