Adele Riva

We stayed at Adel Riva for 4 days, and it was a wonderful experience! The room has a balcony overlooking the town on one side and a large terrace with a sea view on the other. The terrace is equipped with two sun loungers, a dining table with chairs, and a small coffee set with armchairs. Although the terrace is shared between three rooms, it has dividers, so you still get your own private space. The view is simply fantastic! Right opposite the beach nearby, there is an abandoned bar, but just a short walk away, you’ll find a great beach bar with comfortable sunbeds. The apartment itself is fairly spacious, clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. The beach right in front is mostly sandy with a few pebbles, but it’s still very easy and comfortable to walk into the water. The coastline is very long, which is lovely for long walks, especially in the evening. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants around.

from the very beginning i had a positive feeling of my reservation. The team answered fast all my questions regarding my accomodation. They even offered us a bottle of wine as welcome gift upon arrival. The room was very clean, free parking in the premises was also available, right in front of bus stop, tavern, super markets and other places of amusement. The beach was within walking distance too

Appartement propre et bien situé. Lits confortables. Très grande penderie pour ranger les affaires. Coffre fort. Nous n’avons pas utilisé la cuisine. Accès direct à la plage (mais zone un peu sale à traverser pour y accéder). Parking inclus.

Salle de bain très étroite il faut se faufiler entre la douche et le lavabo pour aller aux toilettes. Rideau dans la douche, impossible de ne pas inonder la salle de bain…Gros vis à vis avec la rue et les restaurants en face, nous n’avons pas utilisé le balcon du coup. Des arbustes pourraient être plantés devant pour avoir plus d’intimité il y a largement la place. Rue passante et assez bruyante.

A good location—having the shops just across the street was great! The complimentary bottle of wine, bottle of water, and box of crackers was a lovely touch. Other nice things were the clothes drying rack, the coffee machine, and the very good air conditioning. Host was very nice about one of the room keys getting lost in the sea.

The property does not match the listing. This property is minimal self-catered apartments, not a hotel. There was no reception desk of any kind, and the host only appeared briefly when resolving an issue. The photos and listing very much give the impression of a hotel. Other items on the listing that were not actually present when we were there included: a wellness center that you could book into for a massage (no idea where this could be, the one page of information in the room made no mention of anything like this, and we had booked this property hoping to book a massage), free beach side chairs (the connected beach bar that appears in the photos for the listing is abandoned and in significant disrepair), an inner courtyard view (we booked an “inner courtyard view” instead of an “ocean view room,” and we got a view of a lovely front garden and the street, but it was not a courtyard). While we ultimately enjoyed our stay, arriving to find the above was incredibly frustrating. We arrived to find the 2 chairs at the table were broken to the point of being unsafe. They were replaced within 24 hours, but that should have been caught before we arrived, we almost hurt ourselves trying not to fall when the chairs lurched under us, and clear evidence of failed repairs was on the bottom of the chair when we inspected them. Also had an incredibly frustrating experience when I tried to call the host and she would answer and then hung up on me after I said who I was, twice in a row. On the third call she asked me to text her, but I wish she had found a different way to communicate this. Hanging up on me twice in a row when they had previously given me their phone number and told me to call if I needed anything was honestly infuriating.
