The location was amazing although the road upto the accommodation was very steep and gravel tracks. It wasn't an easy place to find in the dark and it didn't help as it was raining.
The gravel steep track.

Ca' dei Lanari is a beautiful house in very peaceful surroundings. It is well equipped, and even although it is an old property, it has the modern facilities you would hope for. That doesn't mean the old character of the property has been obliterated; far from it - it is a wonderfully characterful building which has retained so many of its fine features. The pool is a great addition, especially in the heat! With just three units on site the pool is not likely to be 'busy' at any time of the day.
Nothing really

This is a stunning property, in a secluded location on a rolling Umbrian hill, among oaks and meadows. The pool is fantastic and the property is super well equipped, including a pizza oven and a huge BBQ outside. Inside, there’s everything from hair dryer to a very well equipped kitchen.
We loved everything. Marinella is an amazing, attentive and non-intrusive host, and she’s poured her heart into this stunning Umbrian hideaway. And the towns around - Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Siena, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Florence - are, obviously, worthy of a separate post!
