Abad Whispering Palms

The bed was large, firm and comfortable. Good sleep. The hotel grounds were lovely and well maintained, with benches where guests could relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. The restaurant was open and airy, clean and comfortable. The buffets were delicious and offered a good variety of dishes to suit different tastes.

The hotel does not provide currency exchange. There was little hot water. At times of the day the shower was warm, other times it was cool (not cold). It is not possible to connect the television to the Internet so apps like Netflix and YouTube are not possible.

We had a wonderful stay at Abad Whispering Palms, Kumarakom. The hospitality and service were excellent and made our stay truly memorable. A special mention to Rafeeq from the front office, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. His genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out and made a big difference to our experience. A big thank you to Rafeeq and the entire team for the warm hospitality. We truly appreciated it and would happily recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kumarakom!

A Bar in house would have made it even better.

staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from my first night checking in until i checked out. constantly asking if there was anything i needed to improve my stay. Rafeeque in particular was incredibly helpful and made my stay very smooth.
