Beautiful spacious apartment with stunning views over the lake. Dog friendly, free onsite parking, complimentary use of bikes, and handy to have a washing machine. The terrace size was good and the hut tub is a nice treat. Good location, approx 15 minute walk to the centre. Friendly owner, with a lovely welcome gift.

As others have said the terrace isn’t very private, although if it was, the view wouldn’t exist! It was secure for our senior Cocker spaniel but possibly not for larger / more agile dogs. The kitchenette area needs some wall cupboards for improved storage. It was all very tight. The outside of the apartment building is a bit tired.

It was sooooo clean and well decorated, we felt like behind in a magazine picture. The terrasse was absolutely great! We had all our meals outside with this marvellous view of the lake. It was close enough to walk to the train station and to different restaurants. The spa was clean, the deb very comfortable and the kitchen perfectly well equipped.

Its a lovely clean and comfortable apartment with stunning views of Lago di Maggiore. The owner is very helpful. Access to the property is good being on the ground floor with key lock entry. There is a secure car park but we opted to park just outside the entrance in a parking area which is off the street and easier to get in and out of. There is a small clothes washing machine in the bathroom and clothes drying rack that you can put out on the very big patio. There is a very clean spa tub on the patio which we didn't use but I am sure lovers of spa baths would enjoy while overlooking the lake. There is a small dishwasher and enough crockery, glasses and cutlery for 2 people.

The kitchen is extremely small and the only cooking facility is a 2 burner induction cooktop. There is nowhere to store non-perishible foods. . No microwave or oven. If you like to self cater its not really adequate for any more than breakfasts and sandwich lunches. The location. While offering stunning views the apartment is out of town, uphill from Baveno, and you have to drive to everything, including the supermarkets and train station unless you are a very fit walker. With parking at a premium in both Bevano and Stresa, that can be a challenge, but its hard to find properties that have the views as well as easy access. There is not a lot to see and do in Baveno except visit restaurants and take lake ferries so its not a place for young families or people wanting much night-life.
