I've been to the Smokies many times over the years and don't always write reviews. But Eagle's Vista deserves one.The hosts have gone to great detail to make Eagle's Vista a pinnacle of cabin rentals. The cabin was as good as advertised, even better! From check-in to departure, everything was fantastic. The cabin was spotless upon check-in and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub. The sunsets were beautiful.The peace and quiet of the Wears Valley and Townsend areas are so opposite of the hustle and bustle of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If you like chocolates, The Chocolate B'ar of Townsend is a must. They have a wide variety of chocolates and other goodies, and the cordial cherries are delicious. I highly recommend The Abbey for casual dining along the river and the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro for fine dining in a beautiful, wooded setting. Cades Cove is less than 30 minutes away if you want to go back in time. Check out the incredible history of the cove before you go to improve your visit. The cove is also an excellent place to see bears and other wildlife. And it's a great place for hiking and biking.I have no reservations in returning. I'm sure the hosts’ other properties are also beautiful and well maintained.Thanks for a great time in the Smokies!

We have never stayed in Wears Valley and could not have be happier with our stay at this beautiful home! The owners communication was excellent and the location was incredible! We were just far enough out of the bigger towns to get away from large amounts of people and close enough to go there when we wanted. The quaint town of Wears Valley was probabaly our favorite place to be and we found ourselves staying around there most of the time. We look forward to booking the same property again in the near future!
