The cottage is very small but is really thoughfully laid out. Its well equipped, modern and comfortable. Its also in a great location - a couple of minutes to the beach, the pub, the fish and chip shop and Southwold high street.

It would've been nice to have a welcome pack (a little milk / tea bags / biscuits etc.) but thats splitting hairs really!

The location is fab, clean and comfortable and the underfloor heating was lovely!

The bed linen. The duvet upstairs was a little thin and the pillows weren’t amazing but I slept well regardless.

Location was excellent

VERY convenient to the town centre and the beach. Off-street parking.

As an EV driver I was disappointed to be told "no charging from the mains" The property cannot be rented out anyway without an electricity safety certificate so the reason given of "safety concerns" shouldn't apply! An overnight charge would be less than a tenner and the rent was over £1100 for a week so it seems a "mean" deal! My other comment would be that the property seems claustrophobic as the only view of the outside is through the front door and that's of a recycling bin area and car parking! Perhaps a picture from the lounge area taken through this door towards the outside view would give a fairer impression?
