8 / 10Excellent·sept. 2026

House was very homely and comfortable. Very central. We ended up taking our dog, at the last minute, and the owners were very understanding and flexible.

Kitchen floor was slippery when wet.

The location in the town was perfect, very central, close to the harbour and across the road from a supermarket. The property itself was lovely, very comfortable beds and good sized bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with every possible item and the dining table was big enough to comfortably sit at least 6 adults. A big thanks to Jamie for their communication in the run up to our stay.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Nicely renovated, comfortable, spotlessly clean property in the heart of the gorgeous town of Kirkcudbright.

5 / 10·mai 2026

Location great with free parking. Good shower.

Unfortunately not very clean- pans and cutlery dirty, ants in kitchen and front room, blocked drain neighbour fixed, we unblocked and cleaned internal drain in shower and in kitchen, kitchen tap very wobbly, unable to get gas oven to light.
