The House of Art has been a delight for our 2 weeks in Corfu.
Such spotless, spacious and tasteful, accommodation. The hosts provide an excellent cleaning service, welcome pack and excellent prompt communication for anything.
Set 2 mins walk from the Windmill of Corfu, bars and loungers and public shaft beach, at one end of the paved tree lined walk along the seafront. Ample restaurants and coffee shops, small supermarkets, and parks along the mile to the famous fort. Food just lovely.
Bus 2a stops within yards of the house.
Walking halfway round the bay, you can cut off to the busy square with regular cheap bus route No 7 to beach resorts of Dassia and Ipsos within half hour.
It’s only 5 mins walk to the beautiful old town from this square.
We took 2 boat trips to islands and a speed boat to the Durrell house.
It’s been a fabulous 2 weeks, the experience of the huge thunderstorm, was even fine, as the accommodation was so nice for one day inside.
You are within minutes of the airport, but the woods of Mon Repos i
Creates a perfect backdrop. We were not disturbed by planes at all, and really enjoyed the walk to the scenic sea church at Kanoni where you can bathe and eat at the waters edge taverna at
the end of the runway.
We would really recommend the House of Art for a truly Corfiot experience.

very helpful staff - helped me book car rental.
apartment is very spacious for 2 people, very clean too. location is good, near several nice restaurants. around a 25 minute walk to the Town centre or 8 min drive.

House was brand new (we were told we were the 3rd host), spacious, nicely modernly decorated. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but close to everything though (at a walking distance from airport and city center).
Lots of restaurants nearby along the coast.
You even can enjoy a small private patio outside where to have diner / have a drink on evenings.
Communication with the Panayiotis (Co-host with Andreas) was excellent. She's been very kind, caring, and thoughtful.
Definitely our top pick for our next trip in Corfu!
Only tiny thing is we missed a microwave oven.
