Just central enough, just a short walk into town.
Nothing I lived it.

The convenient location, the comfort and decor of the room, and most of all the friendliness and guidance on what to visit from the host Koen, who also provided us with an amazing breakfast!
We liked everything!

The personal touch by the owner to be present and make your breakfast comfortable was unique for me. He made some excellent scrambled eggs and had lots to share about Mechelen and did so with pride. A very accommodating B&B run by a very accommodating owner.
Not much. The room had a clear need of some care and upkeep, but nothing too distracting. Wallpaper was coming away, with clear tears in some places. The bathroom was great but the shower walls had a little water scum on all of the walls and the shower head had hair stuck on it. Not big issues but given the 4 stars classification and the cost requested per night, just a little more attention to the little details would hopefully not be too much to expect.

Good clean room overlooking the back garden. Lovely shower. Plenty of breakfast. A lovely host who was a wealth of information about Mechelin. Easy to get to the city centre.
