Falling Waters

If you are wanting peace and quiet, this is the spot to go to. It's literally heaven on earth - the views are amazing, the fresh air, the moo's from the cows, spectacular, if you go at the right time you will see some calves birthing. Heather is amazing, it was our Anniversary and she surprised us at breakfast time with a divine bottle of sparkling wine. Every morning breakfast was on time and absolutely delish. There are also two hiking trails on the property, the river trail takes you down to Lions River, where you can swim and canoe, then there is the forest trail, you walk through the forest and breath in fresh pine and notice the different variety of birdlife and small animals too. Next time I need to remember to take some carrots with me for the donkeys lol. Although it is a BnB there is a braai facility available to you as well as a boma for lovely firelit evenings spent under the stars

There is actually nothing that we didn't like - we loved everything, the room was clean and tidy, the homeowners went above and beyond to serve us - definitely going back soon. It is really spectacular and very central to the Midlands Meander too

Heather took great care in making this a memorable weekend. Very quaint place, with a lot of attention to detail, making it a very relaxed experience. PS: Even got a lovely carrot cake and bottle of bubbly to celebrate my wife's birthday.
