Holiday Inn - the niu, Kettle Stuttgart Vaihingen by IHG

It was close to the train, it was very clean, it was spacious, the breakfast was good.

Everything about this place was great. If I could change one thing it would be that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. We asked the front desk to eat up our food though and they did no problem.

The environment was quiet

The bed i would prefer the whole bed not the divided bed

24x7 bar, also the convenience of proximity to train stations, rooms were lovely

It would be good to have kettle and cups in the room and not have to request with reception, rooms are also missing a phone to call reception. Bathroom Rain shower floods the room if not careful.

A nice, clean hotel in general with a friendly staff which did their best and good breakfasts. It's basically better than my overall note, but the issues we experienced made me to rate it a bit lower - I believe it was just bad luck. Without the problems listed below I would easily give a solid 8.

Even though we arrived on time, our room was already given to someone else - it took around half an hour to organize a new one, and... I had to ask for another one. The room was on the back side of the building - unfortunately the noise coming from the S-Bahn nearby was not acceptable for my son with noise sensitivity. Took some time again, but the staff managed to find a solution, and I really appreciate it. The biggest problem appeared before my arrival and has nothing to do with the facility itself - there was probably some data leak from the booking system, I experienced several scam attempts from someone go got my first and last name, hotel name, reservation number and dates. Of course I reported it to Booking and got a call from customer support, who tried to convince me, that it was my fault because I "clicked something in the Internet". Well, in the hotel lobby I met another people affected by the same issue. Also, I had other future Bookings back then and this was the only one which leaked. I was offered a free breakfast as a compensation, but as I already booked and paid one... I couldn't use it.
