Happy Dragon Hotel Beijing Forbidden City National Art Museum

liked everything, was my second time staying here. the girl at the reception was exceptional. could even check-in late morning!

The staff was exceptional and the service provided is even better than a 5 stars hotel, as the assistance is truly personalised, communication starts as soon as you book (even via WhatsApp), and they immediately are operational to find you the day trips or museum bookings you need, including Tienamen Square (they book it for you for free). Another big plus is that the staff speaks good English and they also accept payment by credit card. Also, they provide a customised laundry service for free, and free water, tea and coffee as much as you want. I also got my Travel Permit for Tibet and they receptioned it for me. The location of the hotel is the best you can have: very close to major sights (Forbidden City, Gardens, Museums, etc) in a very brand new nice area with eateries, shopping malls, mini markets, restaurants and nice food stalls located in a traditional hutong neighbourhood. The room was small but fully equipped and clean, very silent and ideal for a good sleep. They also provide free Wi-Fi with VPN access. Two different metro lines easily connect the hotel to everywhere in Beijing and fast line to airport. Major train stations are also close. I can only recommend! I will be back when in Beijing again, this hotel is a real gem in the heart of the Capital. Thank you so much, ladies, for the great support!

The staff was awesome. They helped me secure tickets online to some of the attractions and the Great Wall tour through the hotel was the highlight of the trip. Location is great too. Free laundry was super helpful.

Best hotel staff ai have come across in years - so friendly, happy and willing to help in every possible way! We got so many wonderful tips and they helped us book things - just amazing service!!! We absolutely loved our 3 nights and wish we had more - best place that we have stayed in in China by a long way! And having our washing done for us was such a treat and such a wonderful Extra touch of kindness! We will Definitely be back!
