Boutique Hotel Villa Horbach

This hotel is within walking distance of the city center. The parking is across the street and is tricky to find. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Since we arrived outside the reception opening hours, we received very detailed instructions on how to get in. Breakfast provided different options. We liked very much that eggs were prepared fresh at the customer's wishes: boiled, scrambled, or omelette. A very attentive detail, since there was no air conditioner, our room had a fan that served us well at night on those hot days. The hotel was simple and tastefully decorated. I traveled with my younger son and enjoyed our stay very much. In our next visit to Idar-Obestein, if available, will book it without hesitation.

Nice style, but would need some more detail and money to put into the rooms. Breakfast was well served.

The bar was not open when we were there, it felt a little bit like a B&B
